What is the chapter access code?

It's a code your chapter advisor hands out to registered members. It's what unlocks account creation, so only members of a chapter that has joined can get to the videos and study materials. If you don't have it, ask your advisor or an officer.

Can I make an account without a code?

Accepted Answer

No. The code is required to create an account, and that rule is enforced on our servers — not just on the sign-up screen. Without a valid chapter code there's no way to register or see any of the content.

Do I sign up with Google or with an email and password?

Either works. Most members use Google because there's no extra password to remember. Whichever you pick, enter your chapter access code first, then create the account.

I forgot my password.

Accepted Answer

If you signed up with Google there's no password to forget — just choose Log in with Google. For email accounts, enter your email on the login page and choose Reset password. Firebase sends a single-use link that expires in about an hour.

Do I have to log in every time?

Accepted Answer

No. Once you're signed in you stay signed in on that device until you log out, so the hub opens straight to your chapter calendar.

How is my progress tracked?

The hub records how much of each video you've watched and which resources you've opened. It saves to your account, so your progress follows you between your phone and your laptop.

What can officers see?

Officers see each member's video completion, resource views, and last active date on their dashboard. It's there to help plan practices and check in on members — not to grade you.

Can I watch the videos on my phone?

Yes. Every page, including the video player and the slide decks, works on a phone.

What is Business Academy?

Business Academy (BA) is our DECA-affiliated program that prepares future business leaders through local internships, lessons, workshops, and DECA events like miniconferences.

Do I need to be in DECA to join Business Academy?

Accepted Answer

No. Business Academy is open to everyone — current DECA members, prospective members, and anyone interested in business who hasn't taken a CTE course. Business Academy has its own inbox for questions: avhsconsulting@gmail.com.

A video or slide deck won't load.

Accepted Answer

First try refreshing the page, since the videos stream from secure storage and an expired session can interrupt them. If it still won't play, email us with the name of the video and we'll take a look.
